Nestled among the evergreen trees on a 4-acre knoll, Tamarack Lodge provides its guests with a quiet haven of rest after enjoying an active day at Lake Tahoe's North Shore. The short distance from Tahoe City isolates this motel from the hustle bustle of downtown, yet is close enough to allow our guests to get there on foot, bicycle, auto or bus. Tamarack Lodge is surrounded by forest which you can explore at will on foot or mountain bike, and Burton Creek ajoins our property.

Improvements completed are new beds in all rooms July 2011, digital thermostats in Dec 2011, improved wifi signal Jan 2012, whole site painted 2011, All rooms have a fridge and microwave now, and kitchens are being remodelled one by one throughout 2012.
